Young And The Restless Scoop January 16: Christine Sees Danny Making Out With Phyllis – Summer Goes Out With Chance – Nikki Notices Something’s Off With Seth

The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, January 16 reveals Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) will get an eyeful of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian).

Also coming up, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will notice something’s off with Seth (Brian Gaskill). Plus, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) will make an admission to Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei). And Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) will go out to dinner with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd).

Y&R spoilers tease Nikki will approach Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) at Crimson Lights and apologize. “The only thing that I need to know is if you’ve been drinking again,” Lauren will reply. Nikki will say she hasn’t had a drop and is completely sober. But Lauren will ask her what happens ten minutes from now.

“I was frightened for you Nikki,” Lauren will say. Nikki will tell her she’s determined to beat this. Then Lauren will relate it to when Fenmore Baldwin (Zach Tinker) was going through his addiction. “I’m sorry about coming down on you so hard but after everything I went though with Fen, I have nothing but compassion for you.” She’ll add that if she ever needs support, to call her. Nikki will say she appreciates the offer, but hopes she doesn’t have to take her up on it.

They’ll discuss Seth and Nikki will say they’d seen each other at meetings in the past and when she needed a sponsor he was there. Then, speak of the devil, Seth will walk in. Nikki will tell him she appreciates everything he did. “It’s great to see you doing so much better,” he’ll reply. But he’ll act strange, laughing and yawning a lot. “Did he seem okay to you?” Nikki will ask Lauren, after he leaves.

Meanwhile, Summer and Chance will head to Society together and he’ll admit the breakup with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) caught him off guard. But it wasn’t bitter or angry. “We’re genuinely friends and I think we’ll continue to be friends, or at least I hope so.” As they walk out together after, Summer will say it was nice to spend time with him. “Let’s do it again soon,” Chance will reply.

At Daniel’s apartment, Lucy Romalotti (Emily Brooks O’Briant) will be in the mood for a grill cheese sandwich. But only the way her mother makes it. So, she’ll text Heather to come over and make one for her. Danny will ask if Daniel is happy she’s coming over and he’ll make a face. Heather will arrive and Danny will get a text from Phyllis, asking if they can meet at the Jazz Lounge. “Sounds good,” he’ll reply and head out. After Lucy goes to bed, Heather will tell Daniel she’s falling in love with him all over again.

Young And The Restless Scoop – Phyllis Posts It On Social Media

At the Jazz Club, Danny will arrive and Phyllis will ask him to play the song she inspired him to write, so he’ll walk over to the piano. As he begins playing, Phyllis will film it. When he sits back down, Danny will ask her about Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). “I don’t see a future with Tucker,” she’ll reply. “He doesn’t sweep me off my feet, like you do.” Then Phyllis will move the front of her coat, so Danny can see her sexy lingerie underneath. “There is so much fire and heat between us,” she’ll say.

Then Danny will get a notification on his phone. It’s a social media post Phyllis posted of the song he just played. She labeled it: “TFW Your Ex Plays You  A Love Song.” Christine will be upstairs having a drink and she’ll be angry when she sees it. And Danny will be reeling. “What is the hell is this?” he’ll ask Phyllis. But she’ll say she wanted the world to hear it. “I think you’re making a big deal out of nothing.” However, Danny will tell her not to play him. “You had me convinced,” he’ll say. “But you know what? I know better now. You haven’t changed at all, have you Phyllis?”

However, Phyllis will tell him she’s not the one playing games, Christine is. “Christine couldn’t wait to tell me the two of you were going on some romantic trip together.” And Danny will say he hopes she didn’t tell her about their kiss. “I think there’s a bigger part to this story, the fact that you didn’t tell her about the kiss,” Phyllis will reply. “I think you liked it.”

Finally, Danny will walk over to the bar and Phyllis will tell him he’s working so hard to be comfortable around Christine, but he’s so on edge around her. “Do me a favor and back off,” Danny will reply. “Stop pretending to know my feelings because you don’t.” But Phyllis will pull him closer and kiss him. Danny will hold her close and passionately kiss her back. Then Christine will walk down the stairs and see them.
